Imagine a 10-year-old kid from the Bronx, New York saving up $20.00 to purchase a microphone and using a “sock” as a pop filter pursuing his dream of becoming Hip Hop royalty. Thomas Romero aka Tom Blvck understood his life purpose from birth and never looked back. New York is the birth of Hip-Hop, and the influences of Eric B, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Wu-Tang, Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas, and other N.Y.C. legends are blueprints for future music millennial icons. Music connected to the soul of Thomas Romero and created an inner flame which never extinguished. By the age of 16, Thomas Romero began outlining his music business plan which including launching his record label, clothing line, and music management company. Thomas enrolled into Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York and furthered his business aspirations and majored in Business Administration.
During his college years, Thomas cemented a destiny path and incorporated collegiate training with the street hustle to mastermind his blueprint. Thomas Romero began launching college parties laced with his music, and the crowds grew more significant, and the legend was born. College students across campus began requesting his music at local frat parties and live events. His creative wordplay, rap delivery, and high energy rap themes captivated people. Dominican College proved to be a significant launching pad for the future career of Tom Blvck. Thomas Romero exited Dominican College before graduation to pursue his music career.
He launched BLVCK Music Group in 2019 and released multiple commercial music projects. The “Blvckavelli” E.P. consists of “5” hard-hitting tracks ranging between street anthems to club bangers. The lead single “I’m Back” gained instant popularity with both ladies and men. The two minute and 38-second track details gritty street dreams, hood sex tales, and luxury lifestyles. The heavy bass lines, karaoke style chorus and 90’s theme vibe captures the inner hustler spirit of every music millennial. “Blvckavelli” became an instant success on Spotify & Apple Music.
Over 20,000 people encompassing 12 different countries are actively streaming and downloading several tracks from the E.P. “She’s the One” is the second music release which delivers an EPIC club anthem sound infused with pulsating energetic lyrics. In 2019, BLVCK Music Group has multiple business ventures including clothing, global merchandising, music management, and technology.
